Proposal for the distribution of the annual regular funding of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports to Universities

The Supreme Council of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education recommends, in accordance with the provisions of article 16 of Law 4653/20, as in force, as well as the specific provisions of the respective Ministerial Decision: a) the way of allocating 70% of the annual regular subsidy of the Ministry of Education to the HEIs according to objective criteria, b) the way of allocating 30% of the annual regular subsidy of the Ministry of Education to the HEIs with qualitative criteria and indicators of quality and achievements of the institutions and c) the overall proposal distribution of the annual regular subsidy of the Ministry of Education to the Universities.

Criteria

The Supreme Council of the HAHE, within the framework of its recommendations in application of the provisions of article 7 of Law 4653/20, establishes criteria for the examination of requests and the evaluation of proposals for the establishment, merger, division, abolition, renaming or other academic change of HEIs and their individual academic units.
