- Definition of measurable quality indicators (KPIs), both quantitative and qualitative.
- Establishment of target values, based on historical data or desired performance levels.
- Assignment of responsibilities to academic and administrative units.
- Determination of timeframes for the achievement of objectives.
- Integration with internal and external quality assurance processes (e.g. internal evaluations, programme accreditation).
