Procedure 07.02: Reform of Study Programmes

Within the framework of the operation of an existing Curriculum, the Academic Unit prepares the changes/modifications for the reform of the Curriculum, in accordance with the applicable legislation, the standards and instructions of the HAEAE and the internal regulations of the Institution.

Steps:

  1. MODIP – Setting a Date for the submission of requests and documentation material for the reform of an existing Curriculum
  2. MODIP – Drafting of Instructions regarding the Reform of the Curriculum
  3. MODIP – Informing Stakeholders of the Date of Submission of Reform Requests and Instructions regarding the Procedure and the Documentation Material (through the Information System)
  4. Unit – Drafting of the Proposal for the Reform of the Curriculum & Documentation File 
  5. Unit – Approval of the Reform of the Curriculum by the Competent Body of the Department
  6. Unit – Submission of a Proposal to the MODIP 
  7. MODIP – Review of the Reform File 
  8. MODIP – Recommendation to the Senate 
  9. Senate – Decision on the Reform of the Constitutional Court
  10. Senate - Notification of the Decision of Establishment to the Unit/MODIP etc
  11. Unit – Update of necessary documents (Regulations, Study Guide, Factsheets, etc.)
  12. Unit - Informing stakeholders

Parties involved: Assembly of the Department, Senate, MODIP, Studies Committee, OMEA, internal and external stakeholders.

Frequency: Whenever necessary.
