The effective implementation of the IQAS requires a clear commitment of the Administration of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki to quality. The Management contributes to:
- Monitoring the implementation of the quality objectives, as well as the overall operation of the EDPB through the annual reviews.
- The harmonization of the Quality Policy with the general strategic objectives of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the level of academic, research and administrative functions.
- The dissemination/communication of the Quality Policy to all staff (academic, research and administrative), as well as to all administrative levels, through regular informative meetings of the heads of the academic units, the exchange of views on EDP issues, the participation of students and staff, the discussion on possible improvements or techniques used, etc.
- Securing the resources for the implementation of the Quality Policy and the operation of the EDP.
- Decision-making for the continuous improvement of the quality of the educational, research and administrative work of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki during the review of the IQAS.
- The development of an appropriate operating environment of the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), its staffing with adequate and highly qualified personnel, as well as its systematic training and evaluation.
