The certification is carried out in accordance with specific, predetermined, internationally accepted and previously publicized criteria, harmonized with the Principles and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area. It aims at the continuous improvement of the quality of the services provided by the institutions.
Within the framework of this process, MODIP on the one hand organizes, prepares and supports the Institution, the Units (Departments, KEDIVIM) and the Study Programs (MS) for external evaluation/certification, on the other hand, and at the same time, assists in the implementation of the observations/recommendations of the experts in the Certification Report.
Steps:
- HAHAE – Public Call for the submission of a certification proposal (for existing MS, for new ones there is no prior invitation)
- MODIP – Elaboration of the Public Invitation of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Certification Standards & Drafting of Directives, Standards and Models, in order to organize and prepare (EDP, MS, KEDIVIM) of the Certification Dossier
- MODIP – Participation in information actions of the HAEAE and cooperation with the HAAE
- MODIP – Meetings and briefing of Stakeholders regarding the certification process (Instructions, Timetable, Documentation/Reports)
- Unit – Proposal Drafting & Material Gathering (Proposal File)
- Unit – Submission of Proposal & Material to MODIP
- MODIP – Completeness and Quality Control of the Proposal Dossier, in accordance with the requirements of the HAEAE Standard and the legislation - Observations
- MODIP – Submission of a Proposal Dossier to the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce

- MODIP – Unit Update on the Recommendations of the HAEAE
